Grindcore band from Heerenveen, Friesland, Netherlands.
Stoma was formed in 1998 as a project when former drummer Puke Vomit and guitar player Still
beer were still playing in the band Brainshit. Singer G.O.B. wanted to start a band with these two
guys called Stoma.
After a few months growl master 391 accompanied the band to complete the vocal section.
During the period of 1999 drummer Ziggy joined Brainshit and Puke Vomit moved to the bass guitar,
Which he preferred.
It took a couple of months when Brainshit and Stoma merged as one band and the new band was
born
During the period of 2000 things went real well and Stoma went to studio Lobbes in Opeinde to
record eight songs.
Four of the recorded tracks were put under the name “Gory Human Pancake” on a split MCD with
the Dutch grind gods Last days of Humanity
In February 2004 Stoma finally had enough songs to record their debut full length, “Scat Aficionados”
which was released in the summer of 2004 by Czech label Bizarre leprous
Since then the band played all over the world with numerous bands of all extreme genres.
In 2007 a split cd with Screaming Afterbirth from the US was released and Stoma departed from Still
Beer who got replaced by Dennis Braincasket,
who had already done a tour with Stoma in Brazil in 2006.
The following years some tracks were recorded for different compilation/tribute albums and a lot of
playing was done until 2009,
a vinyl release saw the light of day, a split release with US grinders Methadone Abortion Clinic.
Also that year Stoma parted ways with bass player Puke Vomit who got replaced by Anton “Evil Eye”
In 2012 the second full-length The Glorification Of Sexual Depravation was released. Wich was followed by yet another Brasil tour.
In 2013 Dennis van Galen had to give up his guitar spot due to personal circumstances and got replaced by Rutger Bakker.
